Mrs. Cornie Evelyn Miller Hoggard 85, of 702 Bertie Ave., Windsor, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Vidant Bertie Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Lawrence Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Skeens and J.N. Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
