Doris Ruth Evans Harrell, 86, of 601 Pine Ridge Road, Windsor, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at Ross Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Russell and pastor R.O. Denton Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8^, 2014, at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home of Betty J. Harrell, 109 Askewville-Phelps St., Windsor.
