The Beaufort County Republican Party is set to elect delegates to the upcoming convention to be held March 18.

In a memo addressed to all members of the Beaufort County Republican Party, executive committee and all Beaufort County Republican precinct officers, acting Republican Party Chairman Dick Denton, wrote that the precinct meetings for all precincts will be held at the Beaufort County Courthouse on Feb. 18. Registration will be at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

“The purpose of this gathering of our precinct meetings will be 1) Building our Beaufort County GOP grassroots organization in each Beaufort County precinct and 2) Electing delegates to attend and represent the county at the Beaufort County Republican Convention to be held 18 March 2014,” Denton wrote in the memo.
