Curtis Lee Corbett

Mr. Curtis Lee Corbett, age 57, a resident of 2108 Clay Bottom School Road, Chocowinity, NC died Friday February 7, 2014 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Rev. Serinus Willis.

Mr. Corbett was born on May 8, 1956 in Beaufort County to Bonnie Lee Corbett and Anna Virginia Moore Corbett, who both survive. He was a 1974 graduate of  Chocowinity High School. On March 27, 1982, Mr. Corbett married the former Jennifer Donnelly, who also survives. Mr. Corbett worked as a carpenter at Impressions of Washington, NC. Mr. Corbett enjoyed fishing, hunting and was known to be available to help anyone. He was a member of Ware Creek Baptist Church in Blounts Creek. Mr. Corbett served his country in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Corbett is survived by three sons, Curtis Corbett, Jr. and Caroline of Chocowinity, NC, Quinton Corbett and Brittany of Chocowinity, NC and Larry Corbett and Donna of Washington, NC, a brother, Terry Carter of Chocowinity, NC, a sister, Pamela Corbett of Brooklyn, New York, a special sister, Jeannette Watson of Raleigh, NC and eleven grandchildren.
