Mr. Alvin Harold Jarvis, age 55, a resident of 603 Elliott Rd., Bath, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be conducted by Arthur Bud Ball.

Mr. Jarvis was born in Beaufort County on January 27, 1959 to the late Ralph Burbage Jarvis and Mary Marcia Sawyer Jarvis who survives. He was a 1977 graduate of Bath High School and was a ground water technician with PCS Phosphate in Aurora. Mr. Jarvis was a member of Hunter’s Bridge Church of Christ, Moose Lodge and the Northside Boosters Club.

Survivors include his mother, Mary S. Jarvis of Bath, three brothers, Sammy Jarvis of Bath, Billy Jarvis of Bath and Larry Jarvis of Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Jarvis.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of Billy Jarvis, 174 Elliott Rd., Bath, NC.
