Mrs. Janie Lynn Smith, 54, of Beaufort, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at her home. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at First Free Will Baptist Church of Beaufort with pastor Richard C. Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Christopher H. Noe, funeral-service licensee, of Beaufort.
