PETS OF THE WEEK_WEB

Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Bucky

Bucky wants to be your forever Valentine. Bucky is a 2-year-old, silver Tabby, and he has the most gorgeously lush coat with strong, deep Tabby markings. His outfit is topped off with a sparkling white ascot and white paws. His gold-green eyes and rosebud nose will melt your heart. Bucky loves people and loves to be held and hugged. He is a wonderfully gentle and calm cat, who will do well with any loving family. Bucky is available through Saturday at the shelter.

Leah

Leah, our 1-year-old, female Retriever-Boxer-Mix, is a very friendly girl. She’s a trim 51-pound gentle and calm dog. She’s a people lover, (she loves being next to her person and showing them love), and she’s friendly with other dogs. Leah’s short, easy to care for coat is warm butterscotch in color with white markings. White circles her muzzle, runs down her throat and forms a bib on her chest, and she sports white socks — making her a very pretty girl. This young, terrific dog is smart, eager to please and ready to go to her good, forever home.

Leah is available through Saturday at the shelter.
