COLLEGE VISIT: Students from Mattamuskeet Early College High School recently visited Beaufort County Community College to get a tour of the campus, where many of them will attend classes for the first time in the fall. Led by School Liaison Steve Jones and BCCC Ambassador Kenyetta Lynch, the students received an orientation in the library and toured programs of interest to them including Allied Health, Automobile Technology and Cosmetology programs. They also met with Admissions Director Daniel Wilson about college admissions and were briefed about an Agri-Business Technology Program proposed for BCCC by Arts and Sciences Dean Dixon Boyles. To date, most of the students in the school have attended class, including a college student success course taught by Jones, in Hyde County.
