Mr. Christobal Heggie Powell, 52, a resident of 496 Price Road, Chocowinity, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Beach Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Chocowinity. The family is receiving friends at the home. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Whitfield & Whitley Chapel. Arrangements are by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home.
