Northside S.T.E.M. Students

STEM TOUR: Northside High School Skills USA Juniors attended East Carolina Science, Technology Engineering and Math Day on Feb. 21. Students were given the opportunity to be college students for the day and attended "mini" classes focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum. They were instructed by East Carolina University professors in many lab activities, including 3D engineering and printing, material logistics, marine biology and mathematics. Kara Fath, Jamie Woolard, Norvia Jennette and Kelsey Lang completed many hands-on activities and were given a campus tour. BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS | CONTRIBUTED
