Mrs. Earnestine Whitfield Blanchard, 80, a native of Hyde County and a resident of New Bern. died Thursday, March 6, 2014. A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Rue Chapel AME Church, New Bern, with the Revs. Joan Hopton and Daphne Solomon officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern.
