Bishop McGuiness leads the Riverside Knights 29-22 at the half in the NCHSAA Class 1A State Championship.

Riverside freshman standout and leading scorer Kayla Jones leads her team with 11 points and five rebounds. For the Villains, Julia Brown has a game-high 18 points.

Bishop McGuiness has dominated the rebound game and managed to keep pace with the Knights’ signature full-court press and zone defense.
