Andy Scarborough Waits, 70, of Wanchese, passed away in her sleep at her residence on Monday March 17th, 2014. She was born in Wanchese and lived there for most of her early years. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Cudworth Scarborough. Andy is survived by her husband, Bill Waits of Lake Landing NC, her sister, Nea Scarborough and niece, Bambi of Wanchese, and her two daughters, Charlene Mann and husband, Michael of Manns Harbor and Bonnie Jo Waits of Wanchese. Also left to cherish her memory are her four grandchildren, Farron, Carter, and Cole Mann and Stormy Heroux.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Bethany United Methodist Fellowship Hall.
