Mrs. Mattie Rowson, 96, of 300 W. Mill Pond Road, Roper, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Brian Health & Rehabilitation Center, Windsor. A funeral will be conducted at moon Friday, March 21, 2014, at The Church of Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith, Plymouth, with Bishop Willie Mack Bell officiating. Burial follows in the Rowson family cemetery. Visitation is 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2014, at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper. The family is receiving friends at the home.
