OBIT BRINN

Mrs. Louise Estelle Everett Brinn, age 89, a resident of 1150 Hubs Rec Road, Belhaven, NC, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Autumnfield of Belhaven.

 

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2014, at St. Clair’s Church of Christ, Bath, officiated by Craig Hagen. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens of Washington. Mrs. Brinn’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

 

The family will receive friends Saturday from1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the church and other times at the home of Mrs. Brinn’s son, Roger Brinn, located at 1172 Hubs Rec Road, Belhaven, NC.

 

Mrs. Brinn was born in Beaufort County on October 2, 1924, daughter of the late Percy Hinton Everett and the late Ruth Hodges Everett. She was a graduate of Belhaven High School and married Dewey Arthur Brinn on January 31, 1942, who preceded her in death on June 23, 1985. She worked as a clerk for Norfolk Naval Air Station, and following moving back to Belhaven, she worked as a clerk/carrier with the US Postal Service. Mrs. Brinn was a member of St. Clair’s Church of Christ.

 

Survivors include a son: Roger Brinn and wife Sharon of Belhaven; two daughters: Cynthia McClintic of Ferrum, VA, and Bonnie Renee Brinn of Scranton, NC; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Brinn was predeceased by a brother: Roy Everett.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to St. Clair’s Church of Christ, 9814 NC 99 Hwy. South, Bath, NC 27808.
