Mr. Earlie Eugene Elks, Sr., 75, of Vanceboro, died Thursday, March 20, 2014. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Green Leaf Memorial Park, New Bern. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Vanceboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
