Child Abuse Awareness Month has always been an important month for those at Washington Pediatrics because employees are in a unique position to reach families through education and intervention. Prevention and awareness is a coordinated local effort, one about which Washington Pediatrics representatives say they are fortunate to have great working relationships with Beaufort/Hyde Partnership for Children, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and Beaufort County Social Services, along with the many other organizations that support area children and families. Anyone who would like more information about child abuse prevention or awareness can stop by Washington Pediatrics during regular business hours.
