The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close Camp Leach Road, the road located east of Washington  running past the entrance of Goose Creek State Park on April 14, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beaufort County Maintenance is replacing a cross line on the road. There will be a detour set up that is as follows: SR 1334 Camp Leach Road to U.S. Hwy 264 East to N.C. Hwy 92 to SR 1334 Camp Leach Road.
