Baby Girl Ava Amaya Damo, age 8 weeks, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Grace Lutheran Church in Washington conducted by Pastor Ben Kifer. Burial will follow in Soule Cemetery near Lake Landing in Hyde County.

Baby Ava was born in Martin County on March 7, 2014.  She was the daughter of Jason Damo and Megan Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Baby Ava is survived by a brother, Jason Isiah Damo of the home; a sister, Candace Taylor Cooper of the home; and her grandparents, Cory and Mike Taylor of Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ava Amaya Damo Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, N.C. 27889.
