PROMOTION: Antonio Hamilton, an Aurora native, was recently promoted to Sergeant First Class. Assigned to Romeo Company, 262nd Quartermaster Battalion, Ft. Lee, Va, he has held the leadership positions of Squad Leader, Section Sergeant and Platoon Sergeant and currently serves as an Advanced Individual Training Instructor/Writer. Hamilton has completed numerous military and civilian education courses, including the Warrior’s Leaders Course, the Advanced Leaders Course, the Fuel Handlers Course and the Senior Leaders Course. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor Degree in Small Business Management/Entrepreneurship from the American Military University. SFC Hamilton’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and several others.
