Mr. Eddie Lee Smith, age 53, a resident of 100 West Barr Road, Chocowinity, NC died Friday May 2, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday May 5, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.  Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 pm to 8 pm Sunday May 4, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home. Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is serving the Smith family.
