NEW BERN — Tryon Palace will offer free admission to all active duty and military veterans on Memorial Day, May 26. Military ID or proof of service is required and accompanying family members will receive discounted admission.

In addition to this special offer to military families, the Smithsonian Institution’s “Mail Call” exhibit will still be on display to all visitors at no cost. This unique traveling exhibit tells the fascinating story of mail delivery during times of war, spanning from the Revolutionary War to recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
