GREENVILLE — The Greenville Area Summer Swim League’s top team continues to ride a wave of success after their 734.5-560.5 win over Greenville Country Club last week.

The White caps entered Tuesday’s contest fresh off a decisive 783-307 road victory at the Ironwood Country Club and were able to capitalize again on the road in Greenville.

After a slow start, Washington picked up speed during the 100-yard individual medley portion of the meet, as Campbell Barnes recorded a first-place time of 1:24.28, Patrick Lovenberg won with a time of 1:14.25 and Justin Clark pulled out a big victory with a 1:04.91 finish. For the 15-18 year olds, Pam Pack standouts Megan Baldwin and Kevin Andrews finished first over their teammates with a time of 1:07.95 and 59.57, respectively.

As the meet progressed, Washington gained even more momentum, as Campbell Barnes, Parker Sheppard and Tianna Van Cura kept their team afloat with wins in the 50-yard backstroke.

Carter Barnes, Kaitlyn Richards and Andrews all locked up wins as well. The White Caps got off to a slow start in the 50-yard breaststroke, but Van Cura, Baldwin, Patrick Lovenberg and Eric Lovenberg finished strong.

In the 50-yard fly, 11-year-old Tristan Pake recorded an impressive time of 37.46 to take first, while AJ Howard, Rylee Anderson and Andrews all closed out the category with wins.
