Pattie Price Rogerson

Pattie Price Rogerson 84, of 8325 US 17 died Monday August 4, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  She was born in Martin County January 3, 1930 to the late Robert and Ruth Mizelle Price and predeceased by her husband, Rome “R. J.” Rogerson, Jr.; son Rodney Rogerson; brother, Phillip Price and a sister Judy Price.  Pattie was a lifelong member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Williamston.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Roger Leggett and Pastor Chris Carson.  Burial will follow in the Rogerson Family Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughters, Lavone Donaldson and husband Chappy of Bear Grass, Patsy Barnes and husband Wade and Colar Kay Elswick and husband Larry of Greenville; sons, Godfrey Rogerson and wife Julie, Neal Rogerson and Kay Rogerson of Bear Grass; sisters, Chloe Jones of Bear Grass, Virginia Lilley and Alice Ruth Lilley of Jamesville, Dorothy Stigall of Greensboro, Miza Leggett and Brenda Modlin of Bear Grass; brothers Johnnie Price and William Price of Bear Grass, Melvin Price of Jamesville, Michael Price of Williamston; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 6, 2014 from 7—8:30 PM at the Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice.
