Mr. Alvin E. Harding, 57, of Capron, Va., formerly of Washington, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at St. Luke Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. The family will receive friends at the home of William and Genotra Harding, 1376 S. Asbury Church Rd., Washington. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Whitfield and Whitley Chapel. Arrangements are by Whitfield and Whitley Funeral Home in Washington.
