Charlotte B. Hill Moore, 67, of Blounts Creek, NC, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who dedicated her life to God and her family. She has touched the lives of many. She was tolerant and humane, and she imparts those traits to her children and grandchildren as a proud legacy.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2014, at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2302 Maules Point Road, Blounts Creek, NC from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, September 6, 2014, at New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 885 NC 306 Hwy S Grantsboro, NC. Bishop Charles E Smith, pastor. Rev, Dr. Earl Brown, Presiding. The interment will follow at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2302 Maules Point Road, Blounts Creek, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents and only son Daneil Franicoma Moore.

Charlotte’s life and memories are survived and loved by her; two daughters and (spouses): Detra F.  Williams, (Willie) and Angela Moore of Alexandria VA; two granddaughters, Kristiana J. Moore and Kimora L. Moore of Alexandria, VA; six sisters, Carrie Brown (Earl) of Richmond, VA, Evelyn Hill, Bayshore, NY, Eva Adderly, Brooklyn, NY,  Arlene Gaynor, (Perry) Aurora, NC, Allene Moore, (Artis) Edwards, NC and Iris Hopkins, (Leonard) Blounts, Creek, NC; five brothers, Frederick Hill, (Flossie) Greensboro, NC, Calvin Hill, (Barbara) Baton Rouge, LA, Newkirk Hill, Farmingdale, NY, Scott Hill, Blounts Creek, NC, Marvin Moore Sr., Baltimore, MD; A special aunt Hattie Roberson of Blounts Creek, NC and special uncle Nathan Hooker of Washington, NC. She is also cherished and loved by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and a host of other friends and a special friend Garris Ebron of Wesley FL.
