Mrs. Blanche O’Farrow Downing, of 42 River Walk Terrace, Durham, and formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Hock Family Pavilion, Durham. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept.  15, 2014, at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 112 W, Ninth St., Washington. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Washington. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept.15, 2014, at L.R. Randolph Memorial Chapel. Other times the family will receive friends at the home of her aunt Mrs. Bernadette O’Farrow, 104 Daniels Court, Washington.
