TIMOTHY A. “TUBBZ” WATERS

May 26, 1967 – Sept. 17, 2014

 

Mr. Timothy Adams “Tubbz” Waters, age 47, a resident of Pinetown, NC passed away on September 17, 2014.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Mike Caton and Billy Ray Askew. Burial will follow in the Latham Cemetery on Long Ridge Road in Pinetown. Derek Tetterton, Jim Woolard, Doug Boyd, Carl Waters, Randy Jackson, Wesley Wallace, Cory Gibbs and Todd Boyd will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Waters was born in Beaufort County on May 26, 1967 to Phillip Wayne Waters and the late Calie Woolard Waters. He was a 1985 graduate of Bath High School and worked as a truck driver with various companies through the years. Mr. Waters was a former Mason, Shriner and former Assistant Chief of the Pinetown Fire Department. Mr. Waters was often known as the “CEO of the life of the party.”

Mr. Waters is survived by his father and stepmother, Phillip and Faye Waters of Pinetown, two brothers, Wayne Waters of Washington and Tony Waters and wife Penny of Pinetown, a step sister, Mary Helen Jones and husband Larry of Vanceboro, three stepbrothers, Thomas Key and Donald Smith both of Chocowinity and J.R. Key of Washington, DC, an aunt, Donna Pippin and husband, Don of Williamston; two uncles, Colon Woolard of Washington, Calis Woolard of Chicod; five nieces, Kelly Waters Elks and husband Brooks, Allison Waters, Dot Jones, Katie Jones, Moriah Jones, seven nephews, Tyler Waters, Alex Waters, John Scott Cutler and wife Erin, Mickey Smith, Matthew Smith, T.J. Key and Casey Key, three great nieces, Ryleigh Elks, Chloe Jones and Caroline Cutler and a host of cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of his father and stepmother, Phillip and Faye Waters, 133 W. Main Street, Pinetown, NC.
