Dr. John Noble Perkins, 80, of Roper died Friday, October 10, 2014 at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton. Memorial service will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Mackey’s United Methodist Church, Roper. Family will receive friends on Sunday, in the church fellowship hall following the service. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
