VAIL STEWART RUMLEY | DAILY NEWS CANDIDATES: Candidates for Beaufort County Commissioner took the stage Monday night for a candidates’ forum sponsored by the Washington Daily News and the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals group. Candidates for commissioner discussed economic development, the changing face of healthcare in the eastern part of the county, if a new jail should be built and where and the issue of aging school buildings.
