BEAUFORT COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL | CONTRIBUTED A SPOOKY HALLOWEEN: The Turnage Theater in Washington has been overtaken by spiders, webs and other ghoulish things for the inaugural “Terror at the Turnage: A Deadly Affair” tonight. Volunteer decorators have been hard at work turning the Turnage into a spooky place to spend the holiday. Black and white horror films on the theater’s big screen will provide a backdrop for the fundraiser: food and beverages will be provided along with a costume contest and tours of the old (and haunted) vaudeville theater until 9:30 p.m. The deadly affair runs from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $25 per person with all proceeds going to support the Beaufort County Arts Council.
