ZEB “MAC” WOOLARD

July 9, 1946 – Oct. 31, 2014

 

Mr. Zeb Matthew “Mac” Woolard, age 68, a resident of 112 Carter Lane, Washington, NC died Friday October 31, 2014 at his home.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday November 2, 2014 at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington officiated by Mike Caton and Arthur “Bud” Ball.

The family will receive friends at the home.

Mr. Mac was born in Beaufort County on July 9, 1946 son of the late Lindsey Holland Woolard and the late Marion Lee Carter Woolard.  He was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School.  On September 15, 1969 he married the former Carolyn Anne Lilley who survives.  Mr. Mac was a retired mechanic with Rubbermaid in Greenville.  He was a member of Rosemary Church of Christ and attended Hunters Bridge Church of Christ.  Mr. Mac was an avid fisherman and could be seen most mornings on Bath bridge.

Surviving along with his wife Carolyn of the home are two daughters: Elizabeth Woolard Adams and husband Jason of Bath and Catherine Woolard Garcia and husband Paul of Bath; two brothers: Rusty Woolard of Vanceboro and Robin Woolard of Washington and four grandchildren: Landon Adams, Matthew Adams, Josiah Garcia and Annaleigh Garcia.

Flowers are welcome and appreciated or memorials may be made to the Hunters Bridge Church of Christ, Building fund, 752 Millfield Road, Bath, NC 27808
