JEHU “JAY” NICHOLLS III

Jehu “Jay” Nicholls III, age 58, a resident of 171 Tarheel Dr. Washington, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. at Harvest Church on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 Pastor Tad Tankard will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:30 P.M. until the service time and other times at the home.
Mr. Nicholls was born in Beaufort County on September 9, 1956 to the late Jehu Nicholls, Jr. and Joan Harrell Nicholls. He was the owner of The Cleaners, formerly the One Hour Martinizing, and Industry Printing both on Fifth Street in Washington.
He is survived by his wife Laura Wilson Nicholls, his three sons David Nicholls and wife Caroline Anthony, James Nicholls and his wife Stacey Mayer, Mark Nicholls all of Washington, one daughter Grace Nicholls Finch and Husband Jonathan of Clayton, NC, five grandchildren Victoria Nicholls and Anthony Nicholls of O’Keene, OK, Brenna Finch, Raegan Finch, and Ethan Finch of Clayton, NC, a brother Kim Nicholls and his wife Paula of Washington, two sisters Gayle Watson and husband Paul Hager of Washington, Vera Boseman and husband Reed of Bath, and his two dogs Josie and Max.
