THE GIVING TREE: Presents for children abounded at the annual Toys for Tots luncheon at Yankee Hall on Thursday. The women of Beaufort County book clubs attend the luncheon, each bringing a gift to donate to the national U.S. Marine-Auxiliary-bounded program. All the gifts collected locally will stay local until the needs of Beaufort County children are met. The remaining toys will be shared with neighboring counties.
