BOBBY RAY MILLER

Sept. 29, 1935 – Nov. 30, 2014

 

Bobby Ray “Fat Man” Miller, age 79, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Bobby was born to James Henry Miller and Rachel Elizabeth Baker Miller on September 29, 1935.   He married Jean Askew Miller in 1954. She predeceased him in death in April 2011. He retired from Weyerhaeuser Paper Mill in Plymouth. He was a member of Plymouth Church of Christ. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Gail Miller Roberts of Winterville, NC; and his son, Ray Lee Miller of Plymouth, NC.  He is survived by his grandchildren, Tonya Miller of Plymouth, NC; Michael Roberson and his wife, Caroline of Hays, NC; Christopher “Chris” Roberson and his wife Nichole of Greenville, NC; and three great-grandchildren Chloe, Claire and Owen. Also surviving is Roger “Dick” Miller his loving brother of Union, NC. A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm at The Plymouth Church of Christ, 905 Washington Street with Pastors Ricky Freeman and Randy Miller, nephews of the deceased officiating. A private burial service will be held at a later date. A visitation will be held at The Family Life Center located beside the church before the service begins at 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
