FRANCES W. CARAWAN

Frances Waters Carawan, 81, of 1525 Puddin Hill Road, Scranton, died on Friday afternoon, December 5, 2014 in Vidant-Beaufort Hospital, Washington.
Born in Beaufort County, January 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Bertha Keech Waters.  She was married to Ralph George Carawan who preceded her in death. She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ.
A funeral service is planned for the gravesite at 1 p.m. on Monday in the Carawan Family Cemetery at the home.  Linwood Adams will officiate.
Surviving are three sons, Dexter Carawan and wife, Agnes, Mark D. Carawan and wife, Pam, and Joe Carawan and fiancé, Donna Paramore all of Scranton; a brother, Gene Earl Waters of Belhaven.
Mrs, Carawan was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leona Cullipher and Virginia Bridgman.
