From the Shepard Cancer Foundation

The sixth annual Paint the Town Pink breast cancer awareness event and fundraiser was another great success. This year’s event raised $10,572 for the Shepard Cancer Foundation, which supports the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center. The staff at Eastern Radiologists in Washington coordinates the event and fundraising activities.

LaBellas Slices and Ices, a local and authentic Italian pizza and icee restaurant located on Main Street in Washington, participated in the Paint the Town Pink event and raised $500 for the cancer center.  The restaurant donated a portion of their proceeds on Friday, Oct. 3. In addition, they sold raffle tickets for gift baskets and hosted a bake sale.
