Mrs. Debra “Debbie” Ann Alligood Tyndall, age 58, a resident of the Black Jack community of Greenville, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and will be officiated by Pastor Ronnie Gurganus. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Carl Elks, Chip Jones, Chris Roberson, Bryan Hill, Greg Respess and David Mizelle will serve as pallbearers. Greg Gaskins and Stan Hudson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Tyndall was born in Beaufort County on May 15, 1956, to the late Robert Edward Alligood and Millie Ann Clark. She graduated from Washington High School in 1975. On April 5, 1980, she married Sammy Richard Tyndall who survives. She retired from Singer Furniture after 22 years of service. She then went on to help Sammy with his business, Tyndall’s Home Improvement. Her hobbies include fishing, going to the beach, and motorcycles.
Survivors include her husband Sammy Tyndall, beloved dog, Kila, two brothers, Robert “Blue” Alligood of Greenville, Earl Alligood and wife Vicki of Gulf Breeze, Fla., a sister Peggy Wilson of Greenville, a special friend, Wanda Barnett, nieces and nephews, Mike Wilson, Greg Gaskins, Terri Wilson, Tommy Womble, Pam Wilson, Dink Henson, Sherri Henson, Tammy Mizelle and husband David and their son Adam, Tony Alligood and his wife Laura and their daughters Amber and Alyssa, Earl Alligood, Jr. and his wife Theresa, Tina Neff and husband Ed and their son Will, Wendy Alligood, Cathy McGowan and husband Micheal and their children Courtney, Brittany, Autumn, and Brandon, and Brandy Cox and husband Justin and their daughter Scarlet.
Mrs. Tyndall is preceded in death by three sisters, Libb Womble, Joyce Henson, and Evelyn Gaskins.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
