Mrs. Leona Augusta Moore Carter, 68, of 1943 Maules Point Rd., Blounts Creek, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Blounts Creek. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Whitfield and Whitley Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Whitfield and Whitley Funeral Home.
