Bertie Marie Cohoon Sawyer, 76, of 3110 N. Gum Neck Road, The Gum Neck Community of Tyrrell County, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia Chapel. Ernie Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia Chapel, on Friday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service of Columbia.
