DAVID C. HILLS

May 9, 1938 – Feb. 4, 2015

 

David C. Hills, age 76, formerly of Kinston, passed away peacefully on February 4th with his daughters at his bedside. Dave was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired employee of Caswell Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Violet Barwick Hills, and his faithful canine companion, Lady Bird.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held Saturday, February 7th at 1:00 pm at Oak Forest Church of Christ in Goldsboro with Mr. Lennie Reagan officiating. The family will greet friends Saturday following the service at the church.

His survivors include daughters, Cindy Hills Hamilton and husband, Walt of Chocowinity, NC and Donna Hills Pike and husband, Jerry of Kinston, NC; grandchildren, Erin Pike, Sarah Pike, and Jessica Pike of Kinston, NC; special friends, Mike and Patti Childress of Goldsboro; grand furbabies, Fred, Barney, Noodles Nicole, Puggsy, and Roxie.
