Shirley M. McDonald, 78, of Ft. McCoy passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2015 at home. Shirley was a native of Belhaven, NC and moved to this area in 1954. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Stephen (Shelly), Tammy, Jene` (Clayton); grandchildren, Gene, Erica, Angela, Kyle, Elaina, Courtney, Allison, Stephen, Kayla, Ryan; and 9 great grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene “Mac” McDonald; son, Eugene M. McDonald; father, Hugh Morris; mother, Clara McDonald; brother, Ellis Morris; and sister, June Branson.

A visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. A graveside service will be held at Waldena Cemetery, in Lynne, FL on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2PM with Arlen Jumper officiating. Online condolences may be sent at www.hiers-baxley.com.
