Mr. George Brown Whitaker Sr., 71, a resident of 101 Fenner Lane, Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home. Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is serving the Whitaker family.
