KIMBERLY BOYD Valentines Day is about spending time with those special people in our lives and letting them know just how much we care. We often think about family, friends and loved ones on this day. Mackenzie and Mattison Garcia, Savannah and Delaney O'Brien, Skyla and Mylee Gaskins, Janelle Morales and Faith Heath all wanted to show just how much they cared to some other lucky people too. The girls from Beaufort County Girl Scout Troop 665 made about 80 homemade Valentines Day cards at their meeting on Monday night, Feb. 9, 2015. The cards were taken to the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital in Greenville, in hopes of putting smiles on the faces of some sick kids. What a really sweet and thoughtful way to celebrate Valentines Day!
