Ms. Betty “Bessie” White, 75, of 115 Manuel Drive, Washington, died Feb. 17, 2015, at Vidant-Beaufort Hospital. Home going celebration will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Little Grove Holiness Church with Pastor Cindy Columbus officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Felecia White of Washington; two grandchildren, Aaron Deshawn and Malcolm Jemal Ward, both of Washington; two sisters, Ms. Enda Stokes and Shirley Smith, both of Newark, N.J.; a sister in law, Ms. Phrocine Grimes, of Washington; an aunt, Ms. Margaret Ann Vines, of Greenville; an uncle, Mr. Bobby Barnhill, of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 27, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the church. Inspiration wake services will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Little Grove Holiness Church, 312 Van Norden St., Washington. Arrangements are by Christian Brothers Funeral Home.
