The Beaufort County Cooperative Extension is pleased to report the graduation of

12 new Master Gardeners to the Extension Master Gardeners program. Beginning Jan. 5, the students attended 14 classroom sessions, obtaining training in all aspects of horticulture including trees and shrubs, flowers, vegetables, fruit, soil, water, pests, disease, indoor plants and turf.

Next, they will complete 40 volunteer hours in community service within Beaufort County, so watch for them as they join the senior group of Extension Master Gardeners in our communities.

The Master Gardeners are available to answer horticulture questions relating to gardening in North Carolina. You can reach a Master Gardener through the Hot Line at 252-946-0111 where you can leave a voice message or email the Master Gardeners your questions at beaufortcomg@gmail.com and a volunteer will respond to you inquiries.
