BCCC announces registration for Summer 2015 Term and Fall 2015 Semester

The Division of Student Services at Beaufort County Community College announces the registration schedule for Summer 2015 Term and Fall 2015 Semester.

Combined Summer 2015 Term and Fall 2015 Semester registration begins on March 30. After Tuesday, May 19, registration for Fall 2015 Semester continues through Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Combined Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 registration will be held as follows:

Registration for graduating students will begin Monday, March 30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Advising and registration for all other students will be Tuesday, March 31, through Tuesday, May 19, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The first day of class for Summer 2015 will be Tuesday, May 19.

Registration for Fall 2015 will continue as follows:

Registration will be held from May 18 through Thursday, July 30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from Monday, Aug. 3 through Tuesday, Aug. 18, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

The first day of class for Fall 2015 will be Tuesday, Aug. 18.

New students may apply to enroll in BCCC at the Admissions Office in Building 9 on the BCCC campus or on the BCCC website at www.beaufortccc.edu. New students should apply at least three weeks before registration to ensure the admissions process is completed.

New student orientation sessions will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, Thursday, June 25; Tuesday, July 7; Saturday, Aug. 1, and Friday, Aug. 7, in the auditorium of Building 8.

Tuition and fees at Beaufort County Community College are set by the N.C. General Assembly upon recommendation by the N.C. Community College Board. Tuition for in-state students is currently $72 per credit hour and student fees at $4 per credit hour for a total of $76 per credit hour. Tuition for out-of-state students is $264 per credit hour and student fees at $4 per credit hour for a total of $268. This tuition rate could be changed later this year by the state legislature.

Students wishing to be considered for state, federal or campus-based programs such as Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and Federal Work-Study must have their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, application submitted to the federal processor no later than June 1 in order to receive financial aid for the following fall semester.
