Sweet and mellow, that’s our 10-month-old female, domestic shorthair, orange tabby. Precious is a calm beauty who loves attention and interacting with humans. She’s a treat to look at, with huge eyes the color of peridot gems and a luscious coat the colors of freshly made marmalade. She is one gorgeous cat. Affectionate, attentive and friendly, Precious will make a wonderful pet and companion in a good forever home, and she is available through Saturday at the shelter.

Meet Kal, our 1-year-old male, black and tan hound-mix. He keeps his nose to the ground and tracks, not missing a scent. He’s a handsome lad, with his shorthair coat and attractively marked face. His nature is calm, congenial and friendly. Kal will need daily exercise on a leash or in a fenced area. Obedience training will be important, as Kal will need to know what’s expected of him in his good forever home. Kal is available through Saturday at the Shelter.
