Ottis Leon Williams

Ottis Leon Williams, 74, of North Lake Rd., died Sunday, March 22, 2015. Born in the Fairfield Community in Hyde County, January 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Fred Milton Williams and Marietta Berry Williams.

He was a member of the Albemarle Church of Christ, where he has been serving as the minister for the past 17 years.  He was also a member of the Eastern Christian Men’s Fellowship, and a volunteer of many community functions and organizations.

Surviving Leon are his wife, Janice Faye Williams; two sons, Parker Williams and wife Mavis, Raymond Williams and wife Denise; three grandchildren, Marcus, Logan and Hailey; one brother; Floyd Williams; two sisters, Evalena Gray, Allie Foster and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ Youth Group.
