Ms. Juanita Louise Doss Asby, age 61, a resident of Washington, died Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home.

Private services will held at a later date.

Ms. Asby was born in Polk County, Florida on February 27, 1954 to the late David and Mary Whitman Doss. She was a 1972 graduate of Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida, was formerly employed with Stanadyne Corporation of Washington and was a member of Alligood Church of God. She was a beloved mother who loved the beach and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter; Ashley A. Edwards and husband Garland of Grimesland, one step son, Derrick Asby of Washington, two step daughters, Crystal A. Lebel and husband Gary of Washington, Shannon A. Suarez and husband Justin of Wilmington; eight grandchildren; one brother, Richard Doss and wife Brenda of Greenville, two sisters, Patricia Warren and husband Randy of Greenville and Alice Waters and husband Danny of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm Friday, April 3, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of her daughter and son in law, Ashley and Garland Edwards, 2069 S. Grimesland Bridge Rd., Grimesland, NC 27837.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alligood Church of God, 2428 Terrapin Track Rd., Washington, NC 27889.
